MEETING IN ICELAND - CHAIRMAN OF THE JAN KARSKI INSTITUTE COUNCIL, DEPUTY MINISTER ARKADIUSZ MULARCZYK

Between 19-21 January, Deputy Minister Arkadiusz Mularczyk travelled to Reykjavik. The trip to Iceland served to strengthen bilateral relations, a sign of which was the opening of the Embassy of the Republic of Iceland in Warsaw (1 December 2022).

The subject of the diplomatic meeting was the war in Ukraine, the strengthening of sanctions against Russia and European security issues. During his stay on the island, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs handed over a note on the Polish position on reparations, the payment of which Poland is demanding from Germany.
