On this occasion, President Andrzej Duda cited the example of the village of Wanaty, whose 80th anniversary of the burning and murder of 108 of its inhabitants by the Germans was remembered that day, and which was also included in their study by the authors of the War Report.

The President stressed that the issue of obtaining material reparations for the crimes committed by the German invaders has not been resolved.
